Eyebrows, Jane Seymour and Me!

December 4, 2010

Everyone has “dream eyebrows” right? I’m not the only crazy person out there? Well mine are Jane Seymour’s (Elsie McKenna) in Somewhere in time. The hair, the dress, the lace, don’t even get me started! The movie is pretty good, however the ending is terribly cheesy. Back to eyebrows – I even got to the point of bringing in a photo of her (from the movie) when I last went to get my brows done. The result? Sadly, nothing close. I don’t know if it’s my face shape or my eyebrows just don’t like me? So, I put a little collage together of my past eyebrow looks, do’s? (whatever you call eyebrow style?) If I can’t get my dream brows, I think I’ll settle for the first one. Not too thin, and just right. What do you think?

Ps: Are any of you crazy like me and have “dream eyebrows”? Do share!

Haha, eyebrows are little buggers, aren’t they?! I’m sure yours are fine! :)

I also have dream eyebrows: perfect ones! but I have to deal with the fact that I’m somehow “hairy” and my eyebrows are a bit thick. So I just try to make them natural, following the line of the face itself… yes, I do them myself ’cause I don’t trust those ladies (they can change your future with one little inappropriate movement!)

I do mine myself too, except for when I treat myself with getting them done. You’ve never gotten them done before? I haven’t had a bad experience yet (knock on wood!!) haha. I really want to try getting them threaded sometime..

haha this cracks me up. I think if I could have anyone’s eyebrows it would def be that chick from Labyrinth, why can’t I remember her name? Anyway not her eyebrows from that movie but her eyebrows now. I think they are perfect. My eyebrows have always been a bother to me. Very bushy when I was young, then I did the whole over pluck thing and now am left with one eyebrow forever higher then the other. Lol its all good though.

Haha, glad it did! :) I actually haven’t seen that movie yet.. It sounds good! Hmm, Jennifer Connelly? she’s the main girl in the movie? (Good ol’ imdb.com haha.) I like her eyebrows, they suit her! Awwe, I never did the overplucking thing, but I feel you! One of my eyebrows is shorter than the other one.. oh well, what can you do?

Those are beautiful eyebrows!! And no, you are not crazy — I had dream eyebrows once, too! They were Angelina Jolie’s until she stole Brad Pitt. (Now who’s crazy? lol) I like mine now though.. they do have a natural arch, and there is this place where I get them threaded in Vancouver. I refuse to let anyone else touch my brows (two people have messed up my natural arch before!) and so I try to maintain them as best I can until another trip takes me to the mainland.

Leave me a comment, I love reading them & will definitely reply! :)
