Keeping It Together – Zeta Style

April 27, 2011

When I first heard about Catherine’s struggle with bipolar II disorder I was amazed, and so inspired by her strength.  She just decided that one day she would no longer hide it from the world by being silent, and just being open about it in the first place, takes a lot of guts!

There is no need to suffer silently, and there is no shame in seeking help.
– Catherine Zeta Jones

It really shows that more people than we think are suffering with their own disorders. Celebrities too – they’re only human!  What an encouragement to see her open up to the usually harsh media announcing her struggle.  I’ve just been opening up with my struggle with the same disorder, and I love seeing others being just as open.  What a great reminder to know that we’re not alone in this.  Are you ashamed?  She’s not!  Neither am I.  :) If you’d like to read more about her struggle look below for some scans from People Magazine.

Hope everyone’s having a great day, let me know if you enjoyed this article!  Note: If you ever need anything, anything at all… let me know – I’d be glad to sit and listen. Let’s keep it together zeta style!!! :)
